The Sony Ericsson Z310 is a tri-band, Bluetooth
-enabled, clamshell phone. The semi-transparent external finish on the front of the phone displays new event icons such as calls, messages and time. A separate external monochrome display, also concealed beneath the surface, shows call information.
Colored lights illuminate the outer rim of the phone indicating incoming calls or messages, and end-users can personalize their phone by color-coding their contact list.
The phone has Infrared and Bluetooth connectivity, a RSS reader and 14 MB user free memory. Picture blogging functionality allows end-users to share images taken with the VGA camera.
