The Sony Ericsson W900 further expands the Walkman

family of music mobile phones and is the first UMTS handset in the Walkman range.
This swivel-action phone offers great quality stereo music, 470MB internal storage with space for 230 music tracks, extended storage using up to a 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, a 2 Megapixel still and video camera, HTML browsing and 3D gaming. Music files can be stored in MP3, AAC or AAC+, MIDI, WAV and XMF formats, and can be easily transferred to the phone with the accompanying Disc2Phone

PC software. The W900 delivers full screen QVGA video recording, playback and streaming. The bright 240x320 pixel QVGA 262K TFT screen ensures an advanced imaging, multimedia and gaming experience.
The W900 Walkman is based on Sony Ericsson's Java

Platform 6 (JP-6), and application developers can utilize a range of JSRs to create music-related applications, advanced games as well as business and productivity applications for the W900. The JSR 184 performance is enhanced through hardware acceleration, delivering top-of-the-line 3D graphics performance, as demonstrated by the embedded
Powerball Arcade game.
The W900 will be available end of Q4 2005.
