The Sony Ericsson W850 Walkman

is a UMTS phone with the latest Walkman player 2.0, the first slider in the Walkman mobile phone family.
The Walkman player 2.0 simplifies music track, playlist and genre navigation with a more intuitive UI, and includes TrackID

powered by Gracenote Mobile MusicID. TrackID records a few seconds of a track from the radio, sends the track to the Gracenote

music database for identification and returns the information to the phone. The W850 is configured for operator over-the-air (OTA) download services and is supplied with Disc2Phone

software for easy transfer of legacy CDs.
It has the full range of mobile entertainment and business features including 2 Megapixel camera, video telephony, Memory Stick PRO Duo

removable storage (up to 4G available), video streaming, full HTML browser and RSS feed support.
The W850 has a 320x240 pixel, QVGA, 262K color display and supports Sony Ericssons Java

Platform 7 (JP-7) with a range of JSRs, including Advanced Multimedia Supplements (JSR 234) for enhanced camera and image handling. Mobile Java 3D gaming is supplemented with A/B gaming buttons for landscape mode gaming.
The W850 will be available during Q3 2006.
