The Sony Ericsson W700 is the eighth member of the Walkman family of music mobile phones, building on the legacy of the first Walkman phone, the W800.
 
This tri-band GSM/GPRS phone offers great quality stereo music, 34MB internal storage, extended storage using up to a 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, a 2 Megapixel still and video camera, HTML browsing and 3D gaming. Music files can be stored in industry standard MP3 and AAC formats, enabling legacy CD collections to be easily transferred to the phone with the accompanying Disc2Phone PC software.
 
The 262k color, 176x220 pixel TFT display, with Java MIDP 2.0 support and Java 3D game engine with cutting edge graphics, facilitate high-quality multimedia and entertainment.
 
The W700 will be available during Q2 2006.
