The Sony Ericsson W550 extends the Mobile Walkman phone family. This compact, swivel-action phone offers great quality stereo music, a 1.3 MegaPixel still and video camera with 4x digital zoom, HTML browsing and 3D gaming.

 

The phone's 256MB internal memory can store 60-120 standard MP3 or AAC music files (depending on the bit rate), easily transferred to the phone with the accompanying Disc2Phone PC software.
 
The W550 Walkman phone is a Tri-band / GPRS phone supporting both J2ME MIDP 2.0 and Mobile Java 3D (Mascot Capsule v3 as well as JSR-184/M3G). It has a bright, 1.8 inch and 176x220 pixel TFT screen with 262K colors. The W550 also supports multiplayer peer-to-peer gaming over Bluetooth and offers a landscape gaming style. 

 

The W550 will be available during early Q4 2005.
