The Sony Ericsson W380 is a tri-band, Walkman clamshell-style phone featuring the new Gesture control functionality providing quick and easy control of the phone without having to touch it – mute a call or snooze the alarm by sweeping a hand across the camera. The exterior contains a hidden Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) external display that illuminates to show music track, call or message information.

 

In addition to offering the Walkman player 2.0 and TrackID track recognition, the W380 includes a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Memory Stick Micro removable storage, HTML browser, RSS feed support and 3D gaming with both JSR 184 and Mascot Capsule version 3.
 
The W380 will be available in selected markets during Q1 2008.
