The Sony Ericsson R300 Radio is one of the first Sony Ericsson phones to place the AM/FM radio at the heart of the phone with dedicated radio speakers, preset channel buttons, 3D sound and volume boost, radio alarm clock, record/playback and TrackID.
 
The R300 has a 65k color, 128x160 pixel TFT display and 8MB internal memory. It supports a range of JSRs, including Mobile Media API (JSR 135) (audio playback and snapshot only), Java Technology for the Wireless Industry (JSR 185) and File system packet API for the PDA Optional Packages for J2ME Platform (JSR 75-FC).
 
The R300 Radio will be available during Q2 2008 in selected markets.
