Phone Gallery data extraction using Web Services

Sony Ericsson Developer World offers a searchable phone gallery where data can be extracted for use on other websites and in applications the Phone Gallery Web Services API. When we update our Phone Gallery database with new phones or data, this information is automatically propagated via your Web Services connections.

Registered members of Sony Ericsson Developer World can use a key generator tool tied to their membership account to create access keys to pull the following data parameters:

• Phones
• Locations and regions
• Screensizes
• Phone categories
• Key features
• Standard features
• Technical specifications
• Phone form factor
• Web resources

This data is accessed using RESTful Web Services, built as a web application on an application server, which deliver XML data. The Sony Ericsson Phone Gallery database Web Services Developers' Guidelines go into more detail.
