Available for download from Symbian Press, the new "Essential UIQ: Getting Started" booklet is a collaboration between UIQ Technology and Symbian Press and is targeted to developers who wish to start developing UIQ applications for Symbian OS

The booklet gives an overview of how to get started and explains the key concepts of UIQ 3, the basics of application design, building applications and adding views.

As it provides handy tips, it is a useful guide to get started developing for Sony Ericsson's three UIQ 3-based phones, the P990 smartphone, M600 messaging device and the W950 Walkman.
