Although Mobile Digital Media had what they thought was a 'complete product', they had to undergo careful scrutiny by Sony Ericsson. They were subjected to additional development and testing procedures in order to qualify for having two of the Quickoffice Premier suite applications preloaded on the phone and a third included on the in-box, multi-media application CD.

Quickoffice Premier is a suite of personal productivity applications designed to extend the office to mobile smartphones and handheld devices. The applications Quicksheet, Quickword, and Quickpoint are Microsoft Office compatible Excel spreadsheet, Word processor and PowerPoint presentation applications. They allow users to work in a native file format.
