Experts discuss the future of mobile gaming

On the August 30, 2006 at the Next Generation Mobile Games Forum in London, UK, Mikael Nerde, Head of Content Planning and Developer Program for Sony Ericsson will be discussing the future shape of the mobile gaming market by taking an active role in the following panel session:  

16.40  Panel: Other games issues and trends

  • The maturity of the market: quality not quantity
  • "Fit for purpose" games: simple and addictive gameplay
  • Appealing to the mass-market: are mobile games based on console game brands on the decline?
  • Will we see the rise of specific or niche games for specific countries, demographics, or interest groups?
  • Including video content in games
  • What is regarded as next generation in Japan?

He will be joined by other industry luminaries, who will all give their opinion on what will shape the mobile games market will take going forward and what developers should be looking out for now.
