Andrew Scherbekov, the developer of Handy Day 2004 (winner of Best Productivity Application in the recently announced Handango People's Choice Awards), took a moment to talk about the advantages of being a Core+ member of Sony Ericsson Developer World.

In addition to documentation, tools and SDKs to help with application development, he claims that it is the attention and interaction with Sony Ericsson Developer World representatives that sets this developer program apart from the rest. "The mobile industry is dynamic and we are able to discuss our needs with Sony Ericsson," stated Andrew.

When asked what excites him the most about the mobile industry, Andrew responded: "The mobile industry is in a growth mode. Two years ago there were very few smartphones around. The applications need to be as sophisticated as the device, but really easy for the consumer to use."

What is Andrew's personal choice of handset? "I use the P900. It is a very powerful device with a lot of functionality."
