Sony Ericsson mobile phones are included in Adobe's Device Central CS3 software, a new integrated component of the Adobe Creative Suite 3 family enabling creative professionals and developers to design engaging mobile phone content across different media formats. Currently over 20 Sony Ericsson models are featured including the W300, W710, W810 and W850 Walkman phones, with more models being added in due course. |

Adobe Device Central CS3 integrates with other Creative Suite 3 components such as Flash
, Photoshop
, Illustrator
, Dreamweaver
, Premiere Pro
and After Effects
(see chart below), allowing developers to start new mobile content projects for Sony Ericsson phones in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional, Adobe PhotoShop CS3 or Adobe Illustrator CS3 and then switch to Device Central CS3 to target specific phone models.

Here's a brief overview of the key features of Adobe Device Central CS3:
Searchable library of mobile phone profiles
A fundamental component of this software tool is the regularly updated device profile library where you will find detailed information on Sony Ericsson mobile phones including screen size, supported content types and settings, sound availability and network options. Phones can be compared side-by-side and groups of similar devices can be created.
You can get the latest Sony Ericsson device profiles through regular, free updates which will soon be available on Adobe Device Central Online, or through the Adobe Update Manager.

Desktop testing environment
You can preview and test the appearance, performance and behavior of your content on your computer's desktop using skins and then switch back to your authoring environment to make adjustments before testing again.
Enhanced Flash Lite emulation
Use the keypad of your chosen emulated phone skin to interact with Flash Lite content, as you would with an actual mobile phone, allowing you to assess performance and therefore optimize your Flash Lite content. You can also gauge performance and memory consumption on the target mobile phone by calibrating your desktop system to emulate the Flash Lite player.
Intelligent integration with Creative Suite components
Start a new Flash, Photoshop, or Illustrator mobile document from within Device Central CS3, and then complete your mobile design in one or more of these authoring environments. Alternately, start a new mobile project in Flash, Photoshop, or Illustrator, and then switch to Device Central to specify target mobile phones and other relevant settings.
