The new Platform 6 (JP-6) expands on the previously communicated Sony Ericsson Java Platform strategy by adding support for a couple of new JSRs and phones. The new VM introduced with the W550 and W600 Walkman phones delivers improved performance and shorter start-up times, and the smaller footprint requires less memory.
The overview below details the JSRs, features and Sony Ericsson phones supported by JP-6.
