On February 6, 2007, Sony Ericsson announced the K550im: its first Cyber-shot
branded phone to support i-mode
. The K550im is a distinct variant of the new K550 Cyber-shot phone and is Sony Ericsson's second GSM/UMTS phone to support i-mode, following on from the popular K610im. The Sony Ericsson DoJa 2.5 OE Developers' Guidelines are now updated with K550im information and are available for download.

Updated DoJa 2.5 OE for Sony Ericsson phones Developers' Guidelines
Supporting the K550im and K610im mobile phones, the updated DoJa 2.5 OE Developers' Guidelines document gives an introduction to i-mode and DoJa, including a profiles overview, and more detailed information on how to develop applications for DoJa compared to working with the Java ME Platform, CLDC 1.1 and MIDP 2.0.
