Now available supporting Java ME MIDP 2.0, Impatica ShowMate is a small, lightweight accessory that wirelessly projects PowerPoint presentations directly from Sony Ericsson phones using the Java API for Bluetooth, JSR 82. Sony Ericsson mobile phone end-users can now leave their laptops behind and deliver presentations directly from their phones. This dongle is compatible with all Sony Ericsson Java Platform 5 (JP-5) phones and onwards, and attaches to any projector with a standard VGA port.

Impatica's ShowMate, and accompanying software that makes PowerPoint presentations mobile-ready, is showcased on Sony Ericsson's Fun & Downloads website in addition to being available on Impatica's own website.

Impatica ShowMate displays presentations loaded onto the phone with Impatica for PowerPoint Mobile Edition, a desktop-based software tool for converting PowerPoint presentations for viewing and projecting from handheld devices.
