Sony Ericsson helps developers adapt applications to many different phone series by adopting a Java Platform strategy. This approach is continued with the K610 and it is the first phone supported by the new Java Platform 7 (JP-7). Sony Ericsson's JP-7 extends JP-6 with the addition of Advanced Multimedia Supplements (JSR 234). Advanced Multimedia Supplements builds on the framework already established in the Mobile Media API (JSR 135) with new controls and extensions. In JP-7, JSR 234 is used to extend camera and image handling on the K610. |
