The open-source CDC Eclipse Packager Plug-in is designed for use in conjunction with the recently published Sony Ericsson CDC Extension Pack and the Eclipse 3.1.2 SDK.

It compliments the existing command line tools found within the CDC Extension Package and provides CDC 1.0 project awareness with:

• New Project Wizard that creates a project and attaches it to an installed UIQ 3 SDK.
• A Run in simulator command that automatically generates the files needed to run the application under development and starts it in the UIQ 3 emulator.
• A SIS packager command that produces a signed SIS file ready to be installed on Sony Ericsson P990 or M600 Symbian OS v9.1 phones.

The CDC Eclipse Packaging Plug-in is published under the Eclipse Public License 1.0 and contributors to the project are welcome. A list of possible ideas for improvements is included in the readme file accompanying the package.
