[Back]

To stimulate activity in our recently launched Mobile Java 3D forum, we've got three K750i phones to give away during May, June and July to the three members who post and contribute with the most valuable tips in the forum to help your peers with mobile Java 3D applications development. We'll award one K750i phone each month.

The new Sony Ericsson K750 is a 2 Megapixel imaging phone with features that are now common in stand alone digital cameras but new to mobile phones, such as Autofocus, 4x digital zoom and red eye reduction. This phone supports Infrared and Bluetooth connectivity, 32MB internal memory and an external memory slot which accepts Memory Stick Duo up to 2GB. The K750i supports J2ME MIDP 2.0 and Java 3D (Mascot Capsule v3 + JSR-184). It has a 176x220 pixel screen, and supports the Nokia UI API. In addition, the K750 handles JSR-82 Bluetooth multi-player gaming, Files and PIM applications through JSR-75. Read more about the K750 series here>>

To get you started, we will also give away one of the first mass-market Java 3D phones, a K300, to the person who posts the most valuable tips or best helps answer questions during the rest of April for the benefit of  the whole mobile Java 3D community. Read more about the K300 series here>>

Members of the Sony Ericsson Developer World Team will assess the value of the Mobile Java 3D forum postings and decide the winners. Their judgment cannot be contested.
