Changes to Symbian Signed

Recently announced on the Symbian Developer Network website, Symbian Signed will be changing during Q4 2007. There will be three new and simplified signing options, supported by a new, and lower cost, Certificate Authority.

Here's an overview of the changes:

Open Signed, updating and replacing Developer Certificate signing
Express Signed, a new option similar to Self Certification
Certified Signed, updating and replacing the mainstream signing option
TCTrustCenter, will become the Certificate Authority for Symbian Signed
