JavaVerified™ is an industry driven testing and signing program supported by Sony Ericsson.

UTI certificate signing

Using the JavaVerified program, an application will go though testing at an independent test house and if testing is successful, the application will be signed with the UTI certificate.

Signing options overview

The Symbian Signed website is where you request developer certificates and submit applications to be tested and signed. Sony Ericsson Developer World provides an overview of signing options, capabilities and channel access.

PlayNow™ arena Applications

To distribute your application via PlayNow™ arena Applications or Fun & Downloads, it must be Symbian Signed.

Tool provides feedback

Testing is integrated in the Sony Ericsson Themes Creator tool as it is designed to provide feedback throughout the creation process.
