G700
Touchscreen organizer, 3G phone
The Sony Ericsson G700 uses touchscreen functionality for everyday organization – contacts, calendar, notes, pictures and favorite websites are accessible by compact-touch, fingertip control or using stylus input. This UMTS phone features a 3.2 Megapixel camera, a 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen with a transreflective display and 160MB user free memory with Memory Stick Micro for removable external storage.
The G700 is based on Symbian OS v9.1 and UIQ 3.0, an open platform offering great potential for business, productivity and multimedia applications, and broadens the UIQ 3 platform into bigger, more mainstream market segments.
Developers are able to program in both C++ and Java ME (CLDC 1.1), and take advantage of hardware accelerated 3D graphics supported by the OpenGL ES API.
The G700 will be available in selected markets from Q2 2008.
