3G & HSDPA Walkman® entertainment phone supporting Java™ Platform 8 (JP-8)
The W910 Walkman® phone is designed for entertainment – music, 3D games, video and high-speed web access – and includes a new Shake control for game play or selecting music tracks and the new Walkman feature SensMe™, a new way to browse music files using tempo and style. This slimline UMTS/HSDPA phone includes a 320x240 pixel 262K TFT QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera, Memory Stick Micro™ removable storage, picture & video blogging, media browser and Media Manager PC software.
The W910 is based on Sony Ericsson's Java™ Platform 8 (JP-8), supporting Mobile Services Architecture (MSA) JSR 248, the next-generation Java umbrella standard. MSA aims to reduce fragmentation in the industry by creating a predictable environment for developers, reducing porting issues when developing new applications and games for the new generation of phones. Mobile 3D gaming is supplemented with A/B gaming buttons for landscape mode gaming.
