I was working in Adobe Flash CS3 on a Capuchin project, I allready had exported the project a few times with the "create capuchin aplication" option but this time I got an error(see attachment) after this error when I clicked create capuchin aplication it deletes the capuchin components from the library and flash hangs for a few seconds then nothing happens. I have allready tried reinstalling flash and the mxps but then got the same error again.
I hope someone can help

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
I am using Flash CS4 and having the same problem when I use the Create Capuchin Application its gives an error saying "The following Javascript errorsoccured:" and deletes the Capuchin files from the library. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Were you able to sort this out Joost ? Currently Being Moderated
Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Dear developers,
This error message is generated when the flash file path is too long. You don't need to re-install anything. Just move your fla file to the desktop or the C:\ for example and this error message will disappear. We are working on this to be fixed, so please keep visiting our capuchin kit page for a new release.

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hi
I am getting this error as well. My file resides directly on C: - ie. shortest possible path. I am using Windows Vista 64 Bit and Flash CS4.

Same here, even after putting the*.fla in C:/ it still wont work.

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hi,
There is already a development team working for fixing this problem.
Personally, I would like to know if the early version, CapuchinKit 4.0 also behaves so bad for you. Use attached file. (You will need to install the MXP, remove CapuchinKit from the library in your project, and then add again)
We are sorry for this and a fix is on the way.

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hello,
Enrique, Thanks for the update. I have used Capuchin4 MXP and they dont work as well. Also when I import the controls for version 4 in to my library only ONE control is added rather than two (one for devie and one for simulator)
Hope that helps in developing a solution. Currently Being Moderated
Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hi
Enrique, I also tried fresh installs on both WinXP and Vista - CS4 in both cases. Same error occurs every time.

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hi,
With CapuchinKit version 4 we use only one component "type" instead of two (dev and sim). This single variant detects when the application runs in the desktop or in the phone.
As said, investigation about this issue is ongoing with high priority, many thanks for reporting it!

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hi guys,
Sorry for the lateness.
There are many possible combinations of OS+Flash+CapuchinVersion+ServiceVersion, so it's hard to reproduce the error (we couldn't reproduce so far...).
We are working on that and will give you an answer ASAP. Please be patient.
Thanks! Eduardo Currently Being Moderated
Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
For me it was the fla file.
Tried the file on my laptop today and got exact the same error as I had before. My computer runs on xp profesional the laptop runs vista home premium.
It was a fresh install of cs3 and mxp extensions. I was using capuchin and calendar mxp. Good luck with the bug fixes.

Re: Capuchin mxp went corrupt
Hi,
Let's try this. I attach a newer version of CapuchinKit 4.1
1. Close Flash. 2. Start Adobe Extension Manager, remove Capuchin Kit component 4.x. 3. Install the attached version.Check that the file is the one for your OS. 4. Start Flash and open your .fla file, remove the CapuchinKit component from the scene and also from the library. 5. Add again the CapuchinKit component to the scene (will appear in the library) then save the file. 6. Try the command “Create Capuchin Application”.
We appreciate any feedback! If you get the error again, please attach to your post a screenshot of Flash where the library and the component palette are seen, the OS and the CS version.
