How to take good pictures with Aino?

Ringtone: Can not use this file

on W518aI have a M4A ringtone. If I access it through My Staff/Music/Ringtones it plays fine

But when I try to set this file as ringtone (Settings/Sounds&Alerts/Ringtone), phone responds "Can not use this file"

Why would it refuse to set a ringtone?

i ride a motorbike and would like to have the ability to chat to the passenger using bluetooth on my phone rather than spending money on an intercom system would someone be able to create this kind of application for me?

Is there any example available on USING commands like *STKC,*STKE,*STKR ? I have gone through 3GPP 11.14 document but cant understand it. It would be great if i get example on these commands. I request Sony ericsson developer support Please do help me.

RAW-IR or full IrDA

Is it possible to send AT modem commands to the IR-port just using the RAW-IR solution (only IrDA Phyiscal layer to replace Serial cable by IR), to lets say a W800i mobile ?

Or is IrDA (full IrDA protocol implementation) required ?

Which IrDA application protocol, IrCOMM/IrOBEX/IrLPT would be needed ?

Hi,

I try to use the phone gallery API. I send the following request http://devicedb.developer.sonyericsson.com/restful-server-webapp/phones but unfortunately only the 100 first devices are returned in the response.
The last device is <link href="http://devicedb.developer.sonyericsson.com/restful-server-webapp/phones/W302"/>

What is the way to retrieve all the SE devices ?

Thawte & Verisign Certificates now accepted for Java content submission

finally, after some mega whinging.... Thawte & Verisign Certificates are accepted for Java content submission. good to see se making concrete efforts to simplify the process for developers, took some time but s'pose better late than never....

here's pretty good summary of changes, more stuff bout this on home page

Revised Certification Criteria

Applications can be unsigned at submission
Applications that don’t require any permissions can be unsigned when deployed to the sales channels (NEW!)
All Java applications must pass the Unified Testing Criteria .
Applications that require permissions should be signed through JavaVerified or with Thawte Premium Server CA (NEW!) or Verisign Class 3 third-party certificates. (NEW!)

SIP over WiFi with g705 / w705??

I just purchased a g705 because it has native SIP, but what does the phone actually do with these settings? I've put all the correct information in the SIP settings but I can find no documentation on what to do after this. The phone doesn't give me any indication that the SIP settings have been applied or anything.

Searching online has yielded nothing, and it's getting frustrating.

Does anyone here on the devleoper's site know what I'm talking about? The goal is to ditch my carrier and just use the native SIP over WiFi. I've tried every java SIP client available but all of them require a mobile number to "call back" in order to receive or send SIP calls. This is counter intuitive with a phone that supposedly supports SIP natively..

Any response will be much appreciated
